CAFE SOJOURNER |

SHARE A CUP OF COFFEE with your neighbor! As a way to minister to our homeless neighbors, Sojourner provides coffee, popcorn and a shelter from the cold every Friday afternoon from 1-5 p.m. The shelter opens Nov. 14 and will continue through the end of March. At least 2 volunteers are needed for every shift to help with set-up, clean-up and for safety. Shifts are 12:30-3 p.m. and 3-5:30 p.m. Friday from 1-5 p.m. is obviously not a convenient time for everyone, so for those of us who have a more flexible schedule, please consider volunteering! There will be a Café Sojourner volunteer meeting after the worship service on Sunday, Nov. 16. Please contact Carrie McClain at cmcclain@northpark.edu with any questions. We hope and pray to see you there! |
